So day one of Worlds complete with 3 races in light 5-8 knots...and what a day for the Aussies...topped off with Balmoral Windsurfing captain Martin French winning the 3rd race in his class to put him 5th overall, other special mentions Dolly a terrific 2nd in race 2 placing him 5th as well after 3 races (no drop) and the ever youthful and trained to the minute Stu Gilbert posting two 3rd placing ti go with an OCS.

Aussies after 3 races day one:

Lights - Mal Rofe 8th Steve Newman 10th and Steve Walsh 16th after a blistering 6th in race 3

Mediums- Bruce Kendall 3rd, Martin French 5th, Jay Wild 8th

Light Heavies- Dolly 5th, Matt Froggy Hanaut 7th

Heavies - S Jones 9th, Stu Gilbert 11th (carrying an OCS which is subject to hearing)
